Fastenal Ford at Daytona
Carl Edwards and the No. 60 Fastenal Ford Mustang begin the 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series Season with the running of the DRIVE4COPD 300 at Daytona International Speedway Saturday on ESPN2 at 1 PM EST. You can catch live qualifying Friday afternoon at 4 EST on ESPN2, with final practice Thursday morning at 10 EST also on ESPN2.
Carl Edwards on racing the Mustang at Daytona International Speedway:
“Racing the mustang at Daytona will be a lot of fun. There is a lot of pride on the line. We are looking for a win there for Ford, Fastenal, the Mustang brand and most importantly for my guys. My guys have worked really hard this winter getting the new Mustang ready and making sure it is the best it can be. It will be a fun Saturday afternoon.”

“We always look forward to the first race in Daytona to kick off the season. We are especially excited about running the Mustang with the new FR-9 engine this year. Everyone has worked extremely hard in the offseason so we are ready to get this Mustang in victory lane.”
