Carl Edwards on racing at Bristol Motor Speedway:
“Bristol has been a lot of fun in the Nationwide Series for me. We’ve had a lot of success and I feel like its one of those races that helps me prepare for the Cup race the next night because Bristol is a place that has a rhythm that you have to get into in order to be competitive.”
Crew chief Drew Blickensderfer on racing at Bristol Motor Speedway:
“Racing at Bristol is exciting, especially at night. We ran well there in the spring and look to grow on that and get back into victory lane in Carl's 200th career NNS start. It takes a really good handling chassis and staying out of the wrecks that are common at Bristol to make that happen.”

-CARL EDWARDS will make his 13th Nationwide Series start at Bristol Motor Speedway Friday night. This is also his 200th career NASCAR Nationwide Series start.
-FOR THE RECORD… Edwards’ average start at Bristol is 7.3 and his average finish is 11.6. Last year Edwards finished second in this summer night race and earlier this spring Edwards finished fourth at Bristol.
