Edwards Texas Preview

November 3, 2010

The NASCAR Nationwide Series heads to Texas for the running of the O’Reilly Challenge on Saturday at 12:00 PM EST on ESPN2.  Practice can be seen today at 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM EST on SPEED.

QUOTES
Carl Edwards on racing at Texas Motor Speedway:

“At this point in the Nationwide Series, we are just out for wins. We had one of our best performances on a 1.5 mile track earlier this season at Texas, until we experienced a part failure. Texas is one place that we’ve been looking forward to coming back to and riding strong. I’m ready to win and get Copart in victory lane.”

Crew chief Mike Beam on racing at Texas Motor Speedway:

“Our Copart.com Ford Fusion will be very fast and I am confident we can run in the front all night. At Texas you need good aerodynamics and we have to take care of our equipment. I’m hopeful to build on what the team started here in the spring.”
